Webster defines meditation as dwelling on anything in thought. Meditation-in-Motion is a holistic approach to sacred scripture. Its twelve slow, relaxed, tai chi-like movements complement any form of prayer, scriptural reading, or Lectio Divina.
Meditation-in-Motion can also be integrated into a Sunday service or any religious education, and has been an integral part of worship at Clifton Universalist-Unitarian Church since January 2007. It was also featured at the UUA’s 2008 General Assembly in Ft. Lauderdale, drawing more than 75 participants.
